Pressure to pretend

Putting up a post achieving 500 likes.

Searching for happiness where there are only lies.

Thousands of friends online, worrying about everything but you.

Who the hell has time to think about who is the one sitting next to you?

Hugs and kisses spreading all over the web.

Have you had time to hug the one who has given you a shed?

A shed to bury all your secrets

A shed to stop the rain drop on you

A shed to keep you away from rage.

A shed to become 'YOU '.

Popping notifications take away your rest.

Do they notify what suits you the best?

A proper sleep or a hormonal imbalance?

Taking up real issues or a "Ten Year Challenge"?

Health before anything else or ringing 'Subscription Bells'?

Update about your family or an update of people living inside the shells?

Shells of fake happiness,

Shells of fake concerns.

Shells of loneliness,

Shells of 'Fashion Influencers'.

Unaware of certain 'Memes',

You become the dumb of the group.

Thus engrossed everytime,

Unable to see a mosquito in your soup.

So much to talk over the messages,

Nothing to discuss in person.

All the courage to be loud in thoughts,

Only over the media sites, not in lessons.

Conscious about the social life,

Fighting the thunderstorm in real.

Using 'Filters' to make an impression,

Are you trying to overcome depression?

Shedding a tear behind the screen,

While putting up a #happysoul post.

Pressuring oneself to an indefinite extent,

Do you know what you are and what you pretend?
